In 2019, the history of JGB celebrates its 34 years. The reality we live nowadays was only possible thanks to the dream of a university student who on the very March 25, 1985, made his Course final paper, whose title was “Economic Feasibility of Implementing the Personal Protective Equipment Industry in RS ” in one of the main companies specialized in personal protection and safety equipment in the country.
The trust we have earned over the years is the biggest victory we could ever want to have – which was only possible thanks to our dedication to the quality and the constant search for ongoing innovation. Since its very beginning, we have never given up on quality and we are even more now committed to producing diversified equipment for the market.
JGB’s history is marked by innovation and pioneering spirit. In 1997, we were the first Brazilian company to certify a safety product in the European Union, when we acquired the CE conformity seal for Kouríon, our high temperature leather line, which was then launched at the German fair Hannover Messe in that year.
